Expressions of interest for our next Reconciliation Action Plan artist
It’s been over two years since MMS developed and launched our first “Reflect” Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
MMS has been in the Reflect stage since June 2022. This stage helps prepare businesses to engage in reconciliation meaningfully and develop relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and establish important foundations like Acknowledgement of Country.
But we know that there is much work to do, as an organisation and a country, to contribute towards reconciliation. The four types of RAPs – Reflect, Innovate, Stretch and Elevate – allow organisations to continuously develop their reconciliation commitments.
Upon completing the Reflect RAP, MMS is now transitioning to an Innovate RAP, which will help guide us in progressing our reconciliation journey.
We are looking for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist to create an artwork (or series of artworks) that will be displayed (in full or in extract) in MMS publications, including our Innovate RAP, Sustainability Report and other external publications and associated marketing material.
If you or someone you know is a First Nations artist, we would love to collaborate! Please read the attached factsheet and contact us at [email protected]
